LOS EMPALAOS

Fotogalería en blanco y negro de Los Empalaos de Valverde de la Vera, un pequeño pueblo de la comarca extremeña de La Vera donde el jueves y sábado de semana santa al caer la noche, vecinos del pueblo por cumplir una promesa realizada durante el año y que generalmente es secreta, salen de sus casas a modo de via crucis y en silencio y descalzos van recorriendo las calles del pueblo iluminadas por las linternas de sus acompañantes que realizan todo el trayecto en un imponente silencio que hace que solo se escuche los pasos del empalao.

El proceso de vestir al empalao se debe hacer con mucho cuidado para evitar que las sogas provoquen heridas y se finaliza dicho proceso poniendo una corona de espinas. Cuando termina el recorrido, el empalao regresa al lugar donde fue vestido para ser socorrido y las personas que le vistieron le ayudaran a desvestirse y darle masajes y friegas de alcohol para proceder a la activación de la circulación sanguínea.

Dos grandes de Europa se median en la vuelta de los cuartos de final de la Champions League. El conjunto blanco tras una ligera ventaja de Munich que hizo que el encuentro en el Santiago Bernabéu se decantara en la prorroga en la que el conjunto blanco impuso su poderío físico al jugar con un hombre más tras la expulsión del chileno Arturo Vidal y un estelar Cristiano Ronaldo terminó haciendo un Hat trick que metía a su equipo en las semifinales que le enfrentaran al conjunto rojiblanco de la capital de España, el Atlético de Madrid.

Un partido de los de antes, con mucha intensidad, fútbol y goles en el que ninguno de los dos equipos especulo con el resultado que al final supondría un Real Madrid 4 - Bayern de Munich 2.

Comenzaban los octavos de final para el Atlético de Madrid ante el Bayer Leverkusen y en el Bay Arena donde el equipo aleman se hace fuerte y no concede derrotas, pero el equipo rojiblanco desde el primer momento saltó al campo convencido de su juego y de su potencial ofensivo que reflejó en el marcador con 4 goles, tres de ellos marcados por sus delanteros, Griezmann, Gameiro y Fernando Torres unido al golazo de Saul que puso un definitivo 2-4 en el marcador y deja muy encarrilado el pase a cuartos de final ante un rival que en defensa ofrece demasiadas facilidades que se tradujeron en los cuatro goles y alguna ocasión clara para haber marcado algún gol más. El equipo local redujo diferencias en el marcador entre otras cosas por una falta de entendimiento entre Moyá y Savic que hizo que el central se marcara un autogol despues de un despeje del portero.
Muy buenas sensaciones en el conjunto rojiblanco de cara a la fase final de la Liga de campeones en las que ha disputado dos finales en los últimos cuatro años.

LA CHAMPIONS VUELVE AL BERNABEU
Partido de ida de los octavos de final de la Champions League en el Santiago Bernabeu ante un rival, el Napoles, con una gran pegada a la contra que quedó reflejada en el gol de Insigne, aunque el conjunto blanco no se descompuso y realizó un partido muy completo en todas las facetas que terminó ganando por tres goles a uno. Queda el partido de vuelta en Napoles que será un encuentro duro y apasionante digno de unos octavos de final de liga de Campeones.
He querido hacer la galería en blanco y negro como guiño al fútbol de antes que tanto añoro en muchos sentidos.
