Los dos goles que supondrían la victoria fueron obra de David Silva que junto a Diego Costa fueron los dos jugadores más destacados del conjunto visitante.

La Roja clasificada.

La Roja cerró su clasificación para la Eurocopa 2016 en Francia en un partido que fué un mero tramite al ganar 4-0 a Luxemburgo y opta como candidata para hacer historia si fuera capaz de ganar por tercera vez consecutiva dicha Eurocopa. 

El partido estuvo marcado por las lesiones de Morata y Silva en la primera parte y la buena actuación de Cazorla y Alcacer, autores de los 4 goles de la Roja.
